POLE INFERNO

Inferno will be back in 2026

Inferno Facebook Page

Inferno Pole Dance Competition is a fun, inclusive show that draws upon the incredible pole dance talent found throughout New Zealand.

We are looking for entertaining performers to get up on stage and show us their skills. We endeavour to offer something a bit different from other pole competitions run in New Zealand. We will include as many dancers from varied backgrounds and different levels as we can.

Pole fitness students, pole dance teachers, strippers, experienced performers and new performers are all welcome to enter. Doubles pole submissions are welcome and will compete along with solo competitors. We welcome all genders.

The Pole Room NZ is a Wellington-based pole event that has been running for thirteen years focusing on bringing the pole community together for entertaining pole shows featuring pole dancers from around New Zealand. 2024 is the sixth year Pole Inferno has been held.

4. Over 35 Pole category

The Over 35 category gives more mature polers the opportunity to compete in their own category. The same criteria as Pole Open apply. ie, contestants will display dance ability, flow, originality and pole skills.

We will be running Inferno again in 2026

Pole Inferno aims to be a creative, fun and inspiring set of shows. We want the competitive side of the event to be secondary to running an enjoyable show for the performers and the audience. We hope to provide a different vibe and set of values from other pole competitions in New Zealand and hope to include as many talented individuals as we can.
